Jets quarterback Zach Wilson bought himself some time following his strong performance in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs, outperforming Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes but losing a costly turnover. As a result, there aren’t any changes coming at the position at the moment.
Head coach Robert Saleh said the quarterback room remains status quo this week. That affects not only Wilson but backup quarterback Tim Boyle.

One game can certainly change all this, but for now, Zach Wilson remains the guy. Wilson will look to carry over his newfound momentum into Week 5 when he takes on the Denver Broncos. Last year in Denver, Wilson went 16/26 for 121 yards as the Jets won an ugly 16-9 game, the game where running back Breece Hall tore his ACL.
Now, you have Wilson’s growing confidence and a healthy Hall who won’t have a pitch count anymore. The Jets are looking for momentum heading into another tough game in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
