Robert Rochell and Bobby Brown III share updates after undergoing surgery

Rams rookies Robert Rochell and Bobby Brown III each suffered injuries in practice on Saturday, with Rochell hurting his wrist and Brown injuring his thumb. Both issues required surgery and on Monday, the rookies went under the knife.

After the surgeries were done, they each provided an update on Twitter. Rochell tweeted that the procedure went well, which Brown actually responded to with a praying hands emoji.

As for his own update, Brown went a different route. He posted a video of himself in the hospital saying, “I’m going to just assume the surgery went well. I was listening to Jill Scott. It felt like she was singing to me.”

Sean McVay was asked after practice if there was an update on the two rookies, but he didn’t have anything new to provide reporters.

“I’m not sure yet. That took place a little bit earlier, so I’ll get that update from Reggie after this,” he said.

On Saturday, McVay said Brown should be back within the week of having surgery because they can cast his hand, but the timetable on Rochell is much less clear.
