Robert Lewandowski price revealed amid wild Manchester United claim and more transfer rumours

Bayern Munich have revealed their asking price for Robert Lewandowski amid interest from Manchester United.

That is according to Sky in Germany who claim the German champions value Lewandowski at around £69m amid interest from several of Europe's top sides and they also allege his representative has received an offer from an unnamed club.

While it's reportedly an array of teams that are interested in signing Lewandowski, who has scored an outstanding 43 goals in 37 games for Bayern Munich this term, Sky's reporter Marc Behrenbeck has thrown United's name into the race for his signature.

It is not yet known how the departure of Hansi Flick could affect any deal for Lewandowski this summer, although the Polish talisman has previously been linked with a move to the Reds, revealing he was 'ready' to join United in 2012.

“After my second year in Dortmund, I had a conversation with Sir Alex Ferguson,” Lewandowski has said, reflecting on the collapsed move. “He wanted me to come to Manchester. There I was very interested. I can even say I was ready."

Regarding departures, Eurosport suggest Jesse Lingard will look to leave permanently this summer after enjoying a remarkable loan spell with West Ham in which he's scored nine goals in 11 games.

The report claims Lingard was 'frustrated' by the lack of faith Ole Gunnar Solskjaer showed in him and he is therefore likely to pursue a move away from United instead of accepting a squad role when his loan expires at the end of the campaign.
