Robert Lewandowski offered to Manchester City and other transfer rumours

Robert Lewandowski could don blue this summer with Pep Guardiola keen to find a solution to Manchester City's striker problem.

Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, transfer expert Ian McGarry believes that City could well be Robert Lewandowski's next club after he was supposedly offered to the club amid reports that the Polish international is looking for a new challenge away from Bayern Munich.

Lewandowski developed a close relationship with Pep Guardiola during the pair's time in Germany and the strong bond could help City lure the Pole away from Munich.

Elsewhere, French journalist Guillaume MP has claimed Manchester City have sealed a verbal agreement with Serbian forward Dusan Vlahovic as the club continues its pursuit of a forward this summer.

Vlahovic bagged 21 goals in Serie A last season and was crucial in helping Fiorentina avoid a relegation battle.

The 21-year-old could be worth €80 million according to the report, which would likely end City's pursuit of Harry Kane.

Meanwhile, conflicting reports have emerged regarding Pape Matar Sarr. The 18-year-old French midfielder has been touted as a potential new arrival at Tottenham by ESPN.

However, journalist Jonathan Shrager has linked Sarr with City, claiming the Senegalese international is closer to a move to Eastlands than he is to rivals Manchester United.

Pape Matar Sarr has caught the eye for Metz in Ligue 1 this season after coming through the ranks at Generation Foot - the same academy that produced Premier League stars such as Sadio Mane and Ismaila Sarr.

For now ESPN's report has strongly linked Sarr with Spurs. However, if the deal fell through then the touted €10m fee is definitely an affordable figure for the club and one they may look to hijack.
