Robert Griffin III appeared to have a little something to say about Redskins’ trade for Case Keenum

Robert Griffin III was seemingly just as confused as everyone else after the Washington Redskins decided to trade for Denver Broncos quarterback Case Keenum.

Moments after a report broke suggesting the Redskins and Broncos were working on a deal for Keenum, RGIII sent out the following:

Ouch.

It didn’t take long for the deal to have official terms.

Love him or hate him, RGIII isn’t off base here. Keenum was supposedly a big get for the Broncos after one strong season. He lasted all of one season in Denver before they sought out a team like the Redskins to take him off their hands, beforehand trading for Joe Flacco.

For Redskins fans, the idea of a competition between Case Keenum and Colt McCoy isn’t as appealing as say, drafting a rookie at No. 15 — or even trading up, if not striking a weird trade for someone like Josh Rosen.

Those other options aren’t necessarily off the table, but RGIII has the right idea for now.
