ITV producers have described Robbie Williams as 'one of the greatest entertainers of the age' when announcing his one-off Christmas concert.
The national network will record the former Take That star’s performance at London’s Alexandra Palace and screen it on an unspecified date in December.
Entitled the ‘It's Not The Robbie Williams Christmas Show,’ the 45-year-old promises viewers will enjoy an evening of music and entertainment.
He said: "I'm so excited to be working with ITV on this very special programme. I'll be bringing new songs from my Christmas album, The Christmas Present, as well as the classic hits, to this beautiful and iconic venue."
Executive producer for the show Jimmy Mulville said: "Robbie is without a doubt one of the greatest entertainers of the age.
"To watch him connect with his audience is a sheer pleasure.
"Last month the chart-topping singer and former Take That star announced his first ever festive album, and has collaborated with heavyweight fighter Fury, who makes a guest appearance on the album.
