Robbie Williams impersonates prime minister Boris Johnson in the music video for his new single, “Can’t Stop Christmas”.

In the song, which addresses the Covid-19 pandemic, Williams takes aim at the government for its handling of the crisis.

He goes one further in the video, mimicking Johnson’s public speeches in which he gives updates on new rules to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Williams appears complete with blond wig, later bringing in a Theresa May lookalike to dance with him around the conference room.

The former Take That star teamed up with longtime producers Guy Chambers and Richard Flack for the new song, which is included on his Christmas album, The Christmas Present.

The double album is a mix of original songs and covers of classic Christmas songs, and includes collaborations with Sir Rod Stewart and Jamie Cullum. Williams achieved his 13th No 1 solo album with the record last December.
