Robbie Williams and wife Ayda Field say sex life is 'completely dead'

Robbie Williams has made light of his sex life - joking he hasn't much action in years.

The 48-year-old star has been married to American actress, Ayda Field, 43, since 2010. The couple share four children - 10-year-old daughter, Teddy, eight-year-old son, Charlton, four-year-old daughter, Coco, and three-year-old son, Beau.

Despite his offspring, Rob joked that he hasn't made love since the last century. The singer has been enjoying gigs around Europe and left fans laughing when he took to the stage in Hamburg over the past week and read out a sign that asked which of his songs was best to get romantic too.

According to The Sun, Robbie laughed: “I remember sex. It was something we did in the Nineties.” He then reportedly broke into a rendition of his 1999 hit She’s The One while simulating sex moves while on stage.

Robbie's flippant comments echo remarks made by his wife last year - as a past podcast chat will no doubt now be exhumed. Last year Ayda commented that her and Robbie's sex life was “completely dead” and that they regard their bedroom as more of a “joint work space” than a sex den.

Ayda said at the time: “It’s been obliterated by four kids. There is really no need to go to bed at the same time. It’s just a joint work space.”

In December last year, Ayda also joked there was a third person in her and Robbie's relationship.

Speaking on the Postcards From The Edge podcast, she remarked: "My husband sleeps with the computer. He cradles it like a security blanket. It’s the threesome we’re having. It’s me, Rob, and our leather MacBook.”

She went on to claim that Robbie is such a tech addict that he cannot let the laptop go in case he wants to use it during his irregular sleep hours.

She explained: “There are times when I whack myself on the computer in the night, or he flicks it off the bed and there’s this huge, loud crash and I’ve jumped. Because of his addictions he can’t take sleeping pills, he can’t take anything to go to bed. I think his addiction is really technology now, you know, he will always find something.”

Meanwhile, at the end of last year, Robbie confessed during a chat on Radio 2 that he wished he had been able to enjoy a relationship with Kylie Minogue in the past. The singers collaborated on a hit single titled Kids back in the year 2000, but any hopes of a romance were self sabotaged.

Rob confessed: "I messed that up by being 13 whenever I was around her. It was like the girl from the year above me. 'I don't know how to speak to you!' But she's my crush, my crush of all crushes."
