Robbie Savage has trolled Newcastle United fans following Saturday evening's draw with Fulham.
The Magpies struggled against the Cottagers, who led through Matt Ritchie's own goal before Callum Wilson equalised from the penalty spot.
It was an uninspiring performance which saw just two shots on target against a side that were reduced to 10 men for the final 30 minutes of the game.
Yet they still picked up a point from the encounter thanks to Wilson's penalty, which gave Savage a chance to reignite his and Chris Sutton's long-running feud with Newcastle fans.
The Magpies currently sit 12th in the Premier League with 18 points from 13 games.
Savage tweeted a screenshot of the table with the caption "Newcastle six points off a Champions League spot after 13 games", tagging in Sutton with an emoji of a shoulder shrug.
The punditry duo have often argued with Newcastle fans over Steve Bruce's position at the club, arguing that the manager is doing a good job at St James's Park.
Both have questioned what Magpies supporters expect from Bruce, despite the club often sitting bottom of the charts when it comes to statistics such as chances created - as evidenced by the lacklustre performance against Fulham.
His tweet prompted a response from plenty of Newcastle fans on Twitter.
"You're so out of touch it's scary," one said. "How do you get paid to do this?"
Another added: "Going off this ridiculous logic, we were joint-top after one game, so we've clearly gone backwards as the season has progressed."
A third fan said: "I notice both of you were deathly silent after our performance against Leeds United the other night.
"It's blatantly obvious you're both on the wind-up and your only agenda here is to antagonise Newcastle fans into a reaction.
"A massive shame because 606 used to be a great phone-in show."
