I have been shielding since March because I am diabetic and have COPD.
And while people in England will soon be able to form a bubble – whatever that is – I am glad in Wales we will not until August.
I do not care what Boris Johnson says. He does not know how I feel. I am not doing it until I am ready. I will know when the time is right for me to go out again.
We went into lockdown too late and we are coming out of lockdown too soon.
During the war we could see our enemy, but with this we cannot see it coming.
That is the problem. It is all right people saying they have not got it. But the symptoms do not come out for two weeks so how do they know?
Rob and grandsons Charlie and Freddie came here on Sunday and they stood outside, the first time I have seen them since lockdown.
All I wanted to do was hug those boys and I knew I could not. It was worse when they left.
Waving them goodbye I came in and just cried for two hours solid.
They Facetime me all the time, but it isn’t the same because you cannot hug the iPad, can you?
Other son Jonathan lives down the road, so instead of hugging we just kick feet.
I miss going to town with my friend Beryl – who also locked down on March 9.
They say hairdressers are opening soon in England, but they would think I was an alien going in with gloves, a mask and a boilersuit.
