Former Leicester star Robbie Savage has had a pop at Celtic and joked Brendan Rodgers left a "smaller team" for Leicester City.
The pundit was left smiling after the Foxes' 1-0 win at Arsenal on Sunday and his gring widened when super fan Solomon called into BBC 606 to claim his side are ready to gatecrash the top six for good and leave the Premier League lesser lights behind.
Savage couldn't resist a dig in the direction of the Hoops with his close pal Chris Sutton listening on intently.
The Record Sport pundit famously said Celtic's Reserves are bigger than Leicester when the Irishman made the shock move to the King Power Stadium in February 2019.
And Savage said: ''Solomon, Brendan Rodgers left a smaller team to come to Leicester."
That response earned a hearty chuckle from the amiable caller, who replied: "I was actually going to say that, Celtic, you beat me to it it there."
But Sutton was ready to throw one back at his on-air sparring partner.
He said: "That's a first, Robbie beating someone to it."
Meanwhile, Sutton has reinforced his belief that Thursday's Europa League showdown with Lille and Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final with Aberdeen will be crucial for Neil Lennon.
His former Parkhead teammate is under pressure after three games without a win but the former Hoops striker railed against talk that the Irishman's time is up.
He said: “Do I think he should walk right now? No I don’t.
“Do I think he is close to losing his job? Well, we all know the pressure is really on when you are the manager of Celtic or Rangers as they are both huge clubs.
“The issue this season is the team have not played well and in the big games Celtic have failed it is as simple as that.
“The performance wasn’t good against AC Milan in the Europa League. In the second half I thought it got better as Neil changed the system to a back four.
“They have a lot of issues still to resolve and the result against Aberdeen, I don’t think Neil should be sacked off the back of that performance.
“I thought it was okay, albeit Celtic wanted all three points.
“You can’t sack a manager, if they win the game in hand, who is going to be three points behind Rangers at the top.
“But the next few games are going to be crucial.”
