Tottenham picked up an important win in Ryan Mason's first game in temporary charge on Wednesday night.
Just two days after Jose Mourinho was sacked, Mason was in the dugout for the first time with the first team.
And while it was not perfect, with Spurs going a goal down to Southampton, he rallied his team at half-time and they turned things around to secure a 2-1 win through goals from Gareth Bale and Son Heung-min.
It means they remain just about in the hunt for a Champions League spot with five games of the season to go, although Leicester's win over West Bromwich Albion on Thursday night means Spurs are six points off third spot, with fourth the position to aim for.
Spurs, however, do play Leicester City on the final day of the season and if they can close the gap between now and then, it could be a winner-takes-all clash.
BT Sport pundit Robbie Savage does not think so.
He aimed an unnecessary dig at Spurs during the post-match analysis on BT Sport on Thursday night.
Speaking about how important the 3-0 win was for the Foxes in the race for Champions League qualification, Savage said: "Would these Leicester players have looked at the run-in? Those last three games are difficult.
"Maybe the last seven games Brendan [Rodgers] might have set a points target to think 'can we get to that number of points, can we accumulate these points'. Maybe in the next four for instance, because those last three, maybe with the exception of Spurs, are difficult."
Savage suggesting Spurs are not a difficult game could spur Mason's boys on when the clash between the two sides comes around.
