Robbie Neilson has urged his Hearts stars to thrive on the intensity of the Edinburgh derby.
Tynecastle will be a 20,000 sell-out for the first time since the Covid pandemic hit for the visit of city rivals Hibs.
And Jambos gaffer Neilson wants his team to use the emotion of the occasion to get a win – and lay down a marker to their Premiership rivals.
He said: “You have to keep the emotion in check because it’ll be 200mph.
“It will be a full house, Tynecastle is going to be rocking and we need to make sure that we match that.
"It’s two teams who are at the top of the league and whoever wins will be top on their own. So we hope it’s us.
“We’ll just focus on ourselves. If we do what we believe we can do, I think we can get a result on Sunday.
“We want to show we can compete for the top four in the league. That’s where we want to be at the end of the season.”
There will be a full stand of visiting Hibs fans for the derby and Neilson is delighted that they will be cheering their team on.
He said: “I think that’s important, it helps with the atmosphere of the game.”
