Robbie Neilson makes Dundee United transfer call over trialist pair

Championship runaway leaders Dundee United have decided not to offer contracts to Manoubi Haddad and Josh Perez.

The Tunsian winger and American Under-23 striker had been on trial.

Tannadice head coach Robbie Neilson ran the rule over the pair but won’t be offering either a contract.

He said: “I have decided to let both go and hopefully find other clubs.”

Neilson and his management team were at a number of games down south at the weekend looking at summer targets.

But Arabs skipper Mark Reynolds insists he still has plenty of gas left in the tank after making his 500th career appearance.

The defender, 32, came off the bench to help beat Caley 2-1 on Friday to open up a 21-point lead at the top of the Championship.

Reynolds said: “I still have a couple of years here and the legs feel good.”
