Robbie Lawlor murder probe sees man arrested

A man has been arrested over the murder of a convicted criminal in north Belfast.

The 36-year-old was detained on Tuesday evening and remains in custody, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said.

Dubliner Robbie Lawlor, 36, was gunned down outside a house in Etna Drive on Saturday.

Lawlor had previously been linked with the murder of teenager Keane Mulready-Woods in Co Louth in January.

Yesterday three arrested in connection with the murder were released without charge.

Two men, aged 30 and 33, and a 17-year-old boy had been questioned by detectives investigating the killing.

A 27-year-old man who had also been detained was released on Monday.
