Robbie Keane, Niall Horan and Nicky Byrne belt out 'The Fields of Athenry' among stars after Soccer Aid

A video has emerged that shows Ireland and newly appointed Middlesbrough assistant boss Robbie Keane leading a chant of Irish ballad 'The Fields of Athenry' after Soccer Aid on Sunday.

The Irish contingent at Soccer Aid cut loose after the charity game as they led the chant among a star studded group of players and celebrities.

Former greats of the game such as Didier Drogba, Eric Cantona and Jamie Carragher were joined by celebrities and sporting figures such as Usain Bolt, Niall Horan and Mo Farah in the star studded charity game that has raised over €7 million in aid of Unicef - a record breaking amount.

And Robbie Keane was certainly pleased with his contribution as he's seen leading a chant of the famous Irish song, joined by Westlife star Nicky Byrne and former One Direction man Niall Horan on a team bus.

In the video, stars such as Eric Cantona and former Love Island star Kem Cetinay are seen enjoying themselves with a few beers in a bus after the event.

But Keane won't have much time to celebrate, after helping Ireland maintain their unbeaten record in their Euro 2020 qualifying group earlier this month - Keane will get back down to business in the next few weeks with Middlesbrough.

The Ireland legend vowed that joining Jonathan Woodgate's management team with the Championship club would not get in the way of his Ireland duties - Mick McCarthy's men are back in action this September when they host group favourites Switzerland before a friendly with Bulgaria.
