Robbie Keane brilliantly names his Republic of Ireland isolation XI using household objects

Robbie Keane has brilliantly named his Republic of Ireland isolation XI.

The country's al-time leading goalscorer very creatively revealed the 11 names in a video on his Instagram account.

Using objects to reveal the 4-4-2 side managed by Jack Charlton, Keane named the following side:

Shay Given

Ian Harte, Mick McCarthy, Paul McGrath, Stephen Carr

Kevin Kilbane, Ronnie Whelan, Roy Keane, James McClean

Shane Long, Robbie Keane

Keane's video comes after Liverpool star James Milner posted a similar clip on his Instagram accout.

Earlier this week, Keane hailed the heroic medical staff on the frontline in the battle against coronavirus.

He said: "I just want to thank you on behalf of myself and my family.

"All the doctors, the nurses, the carers, everybody associated with the hospitals.

"Putting your lives at risk to save ours. We really appreciate it."
