Liverpool legend forward Robbie Fowler has joked he wishes Mohamed Salah would "p*ss off" after the Egyptian equalled his number of goals for the Reds after firing the winner against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The Egyptian helped Jurgen Klopp's side earn back-to-back Premier League wins as they survived a second half scare from Forest to triumph 3-2 - with Salah netting the winner in front of the Kop with 20 minutes remaining.
His close-range strike, his 27th of the season in all competitions, saw him draw level with Fowler in the club's all-time scoring charts with 183. He is now just three behind former Reds captain Steven Gerrard, who is fifth on 186 strikes.

Salah's latest triumph comes just days after he became the highest-scoring left-footed player in Premier League history with his brace during the 6-1 drubbing of Leeds United on Monday night, and during the thrashing of bitter rivals Manchester United at the start of March the 30-year also leapfrogged the man famously dubbed "God" by the Kop as he became the club's highest scorer in Premier League history - with 129 strikes.
Taking to Twitter after Salah's recent sweep of Anfield records, Fowler said: "I wish this @MoSalah chap would p*ss off.. I'll have to get the boots back out if he carries on [laughing emoji] #keepgoingMo"
As it stands, Salah is currently 163 behind Liverpool's all-time top goalscorer Ian Rush.
