Robbie Brady career lifeline as Celtic linked midfielder tipped for free agent transfer switch

Free agent Robbie Brady is reportedly on the radar of Championship side Bournemouth.

The versatile player was released by Burnley at the end of last season, and has long been on a linked with a move to Celtic.

However, with the season well underway the 29-year-old has yet to find himself a new club.

Reports south of the border claim the Ireland cap's football absence could be brought to an end in the English Championship.

The Telegraph claim that Brady is "emerging" as an option for league leaders Bournemouth as he looks to get back into football.

Following the sad news that midfielder David Brooks is to receive treatment for cancer, Scott Parker is reportedly looking for short-term options to bolster his ranks.

The left-side player has been without a club since ending his four-year stint at Turf Moor.

Swansea, Middlesborough and Celtic have been touted as potential options for Brady, who has also lost his place in the Ireland squad due to lack of action.

Ange Postecoglou has been left short on left-side defensive options this season following a shoulder injury to Greg Taylor.

It has left youngster Adam Montgomery as the only available left-back, with frozen out Boli Bolingoli unlikely to be given another chance by the Australian after a surprise start against Livingston.
