Robbers hijacked a delivery van stacked with Christmas-time parcels in a day-time robbery.
Two men pounced as the driver parked his white Ford Transit van on Knutsford Road in upmarket Wilmslow.
He was making a delivery near to the junction with Ashdene Road at 12.15pm yesterday in a smart tree-lined suburb.
As he returned to his vehicle a second, dirty white van, pulled up at the side at of the road.

A man from the van threatened the self-employed delivery driver demanding that he handed over his keys.
The victim surrendered the keys and both vans were then driven from the scene.
The stolen van was later recovered in a field on Chelford Road, Alderley Edge - minus its load.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone with any information that may aid the investigation.
Detective Constable Jamie Roberts, who is leading the investigation, said: “Knutsford Road is a busy road and we’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and may have witnessed anything suspicious.
“The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage which may aid our investigation.
“I’d urge anyone with any information, no matter how small, to contact the team here at Macclesfield.”
