Robbers armed with knife and gun storm petrol station

Two robbers threatened petrol station staff with a knife and a gun before stealing cash.

They walked into the Sainsbury's petrol station off Emmott Way in Oldham before demanding cash.

Police say the pair then ran off towards Rhodes Bank with cash.

Nobody was injured, but staff were left badly shaken following the incident on Friday, April 26 at around 10.50pm.

Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

CCTV images of two men detectives want to speak to have been released.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 8999, quoting incident number 2379 of April 26.
