Police are warning North Side residents after two robberies were reported in Irving Park and Albany Park.

In both cases, the suspect demanded someone’s wallet and stole property, Chicago police said.

In one case that happened at 6:30 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 3800 block of North Richmond Street, the suspect fled in a dark gray Lexus SUV, police said. The second incident was at 6:30 a.m. Oct. 27 in the 4400 block of North St. Louis Avenue, and the suspect drove away in a red four-door vehicle.

The suspect in the Richmond robbery was a man 27 to 30-years-old, 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds, police said. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. In the St. Louis incident, the suspect was described as a female weighing 220 pounds.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to contact Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
