Robberies reported in Chicago Lawn, Little Village: police

Chicago police are warning residents of a pair of robberies reported in January Southwest Side neighborhoods.

In each incident, two males enter cell phone stores, spray victims with pepper spray and take property, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The robberies happened about 11:25 a.m. Jan. 1, in the 2800 block of West 63rd Street and about 1:30 p.m. the same day in the 2400 block of West Cermak Road, police said.
