'Robbed' - Fantasy football fans furious with FPL decision after Manchester United vs Arsenal

Arsenal produced an excellent performance in their 1-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, with midfielder Thomas Partey drawing individual plaudits.

Before Sunday, the Gunners hadn't beaten a 'top six' side in the Premier League since 2015 and hadn't beaten United at the Theatre of Dreams since 2006, but Mikel Arteta's side banished both records this weekend, with striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring the winner via the penalty spot.

New signing Thomas Partey was hugely impressive against Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's side, showcasing his superb technical ability, defensive awareness and overall quality, proving once again that the Gunners have pulled off a major coup to sign the Ghanaian this summer.

But Fantasy Football fans will know that strong performances don't necessarily translate into points, with points awarded more on individual actions like goals, assists, clean sheets and more. And that was evident this weekend in the Fantasy Premier League competition, with the FPL confirming the bonus points awarded in the United vs Arsenal game on Sunday.

The FPL awarded maximum bonus points to defender Hector Bellerin, with Gabriel getting two bonus points and goalscorer Aubameyang awarded a single bonus point.

Bellerin won the penalty for Arsenal and secured a clean sheet, with Gabriel also securing a clean sheet and Aubameyang scoring the winning goal against the Reds.

However, Fantasy Football fans were unhappy with the FPL's decision not to award any bonus points to Partey, with fans making their feelings clear on social media.

Here is a summary of the best reactions to Partey missing out on FPL bonus points against United.

What do you make of the Fantasy Premier League's decision to sub Partey in terms of bonus points?

It's clear that Aubameyang, Gabriel and Bellerin were all deserving of bonus points against United this weekend, but with Partey producing such a strong performance, in terms of metrics and on the eye, the former Atletico Madrid midfielder is unlucky to miss out.

Bellerin is now Arsenal's top-scoring FPL player after this weekend, followed by Gabriel, Aubameyang, Bernd Leno, Willian and Alexandre Lacazette.
