'Robbed!' - Arsenal and Man United fans can't believe what the Premier League have done

The Premier League's decision to name Sean Dyche as the manager of the month for February has garnered a big reaction from Arsenal and Manchester United supporters.

On Tuesday morning it was announced that the Burnley boss had won the award following a four-game unbeaten run which saw the Clarets beat Southampton and Bournemouth whilst also drawing with the Gunners as well as Newcastle United.

It's the second time Dyche has claimed this award, first time since March 2018, as he saw off challenges from Mikel Arteta, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Sheffield United's Chris Wilder.

The crucial signings Arsenal should make

With that said, some Gunners fans think Arteta has been hard done by.

Not only did the north London outfit remain unbeaten throughout the month of February, but they recorded wins over Newcastle United and Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

That's seven points out of a possible nine, while Burnley picked up a point more due to playing a game extra.

Man United had an identical record to the Clarets last month as they drew with Wolves and Everton but beat Chelsea and Watford without conceding.

Unsurprisingly this has prompted a big reaction from Arsenal and Man United fans on social media.

Many have taken to Twitter to suggest their respective head coaches have been 'robbed' of the award, and others simply laughing at the Premier League decision.

Take a look at what's been said below...

Dyche's manager of the month award could be the last awarded in the Premier League this season due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Telegraph  are reporting that UEFA want European domestic leagues to be finished by June.

But if the coronavirus outbreak makes it impossible for clubs to complete their fixture lists by June 30 then the season might have to be declared void.
