Susanna Reid and Rob Rinder are set to join forces on the Gogglebox couch for Celebrity Gogglebox.
The Good Morning Britain host, 49, and Judge Rinder star, 42, will share a couch on the Friday, July 3 episode of Celebrity Gogglebox, and will appear for the rest of the series.
Confirming the news on Twitter, Rinder wrote: "Delighted to say my dear friend @susannareid100 and I will be joining the esteemed @c4gogglebox sofa dwellers later this series.
"Susanna, my flatulent dog and I can be caught passing judgement from Friday 3rd July on @Channel4."
The current season of Celebrity Gogglebox features stars such as Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, Harry and Sandra Redknapp, Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash, and Gyles Brandreth and Maureen Lipman.
According to The Sun, an insider said: "Gogglebox doesn’t just find real-life TV couples, like Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, but likes to find interesting pairings.
"They also liked the mischief of splitting up one of telly’s best-known presenting duos, and putting Susanna with someone she is guaranteed to have a rapport with."
Rinder told The Sun: “I am very grateful to Celebrity Gogglebox for ensuring Piers Morgan will only be the second most important man in my dear friend Susanna’s TV life from now on.”
Reid hosts GMB alongside Piers Morgan, while Rinder fronts the reality courtroom series Judge Rinder.
The two presenters are good friends, with Reid saying she broke her sobriety during a trip to Ibiza with Rinder in 2019.
“I did have a couple of glasses out in Ibiza... you couldn't go to Ibiza and not just have a small glass of sherry to round off a nice meal,” she told Morgan on GMB.
