Rob Lowe gobsmacked as Gwyneth Paltrow says his wife taught her how to perform sex act

Rob Lowe was gobsmacked when he learned that Gwyneth Paltrow was taught how to perform oral sex by his wife.

The 56-year-old actor admitted that he had no idea that his wife Sheryl Berkoff had been dishing out such advice to Gwyneth when she was a teenager.

Speaking about the moment Gwyneth made the admission on his podcast, Rob told ET that he had no idea that was coming.

"I’m telling you, listen, when I say it’s intimate conversations… I would never pull one over on my fans," he told the presenter about his honest podcast.

Rob added: "You know, GP, she throws it down… GP calls me and… I was not aware of that story. But can I just say, it doesn’t surprise me."

He also had to warn his wife that she might become the topic of conversation.

"I was like, 'Love bug, you are probably going to get some attention, but I am a journalist now and I can't self-edit freedom of the press, of the speech. I am just not your husband now, I am a certified journalist'," he joked.

It was during an episode of Literally! With Rob Lowe that Gwyneth had divulged the secret.

The actress, who has been friends with Rob and make-up artist Sheryl for decades, recalled how she had admired his wife after getting to know her on set.

Sheryl was dating Keanu Reeves at the time and met Gwyneth when she was applying her mum's makeup before going on camera.

Gwyneth, who was around 16 at the time, admitted that she admired Sheryl and they shared a close bond behind the scenes.

"She was so cool," Gwyneth said.

"She knew that I was sneaking cigarettes, and she would come smoke with me behind the trailer.

"And, she taught me how to give a blow job, and you know, all the classic Sheryl stuff."

The actress joked that she implemented Sheryl's advice the first chance that she got.

Gwyneth added: "And I just worshiped her, I thought she was literally the coolest chick of all time. And she was so awesome to me!"

Although Rob and Sheryl seemed to be good sports about the awkward topic, their son John seemed a little mortified by the news.

He shared the headline alongside a funny caption: "2020 has been a wild ride, but this has settled it for me. I choose death by murder hornets."
