Rob Holding reveals Arsenal's dressing room ritual to get "everyone hyped" before games

Arsenal defender Rob Holding has offered supporters a sneak peak into the club's pre-match ritual.

The centre-back has been at the Emirates Stadium since 2016, so will have been part of many pre-match huddles with former players such as Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Furthermore, he will have many more experiences with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Matteo Guendouzi and Mesut Ozil.

Although, Holding was a long way from the dressing room during the second half of last season due to injury.

But he's back fit again - making two appearances this season - and has been answering questions about his recovery, the Gunners squad and much more ahead of Monday's Premier League clash against Sheffield United.

During a Q&A session with Arsenal fans on Reddit, one supporter asked: 'Hi Rob, simple question, who hypes up the squad before games, Or you just go in without all that and just focus?'

Prompting Holding to reveal all about the Gunners' pre-match ritual.

"The whole team is together just before we go out and we have our final words and shout 'Arsenal' together three times in reply to 'who are we?'

"That gets everyone hyped and I love that feeling!"

After featuring against Nottingham Forest and Standard Liege, Holding returned to a Premier League matchday squad for the first time since last December against Bournemouth before the international break.

He was an unused substitute as the Gunners kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 win.

Next up for Holding and Arsenal is a trip to Bramall Lane on Monday night to face a Sheffield United side which has already drawn away at Chelsea, beaten Everton at Goodison Park and lost narrowly against Liverpool.
