Obviously, we don’t ACTUALLY know if this is how the phone call went down between Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski when the former New England Patriots legend may have asked Gronk to join him in Tampa Bay.
But if it is? AMAZING.
Even if it isn’t: Gronk’s performance in an interview with James Corden on The Late Late Show deserves an Emmy. Gronkowski said he was the one who called Brady and said he was thinking about returning to the NFL.
Then? Brady — according to Gronkowski — screamed, “ROB!! I JUST WANT YOU TO COME BACK AND PLAY WITH ME!!!” And then Brady cried.
