Rob Gronkowski helping launch gamified obstacle course called ‘Stadium Blitz’

On Wednesday, it was announced that Stadium Blitz, former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, and Gronk Nation launched a new gamified obstacle course that will be the first major endeavor for Gronkowski in his post-football career.

As the press release states, the obstacle course “is designed to make the fun and empowering experience of obstacle course racing available to every fitness level, and children as young as seven-years-old.”

The stadium-based obstacle race design, coupled with innovative scoring technology creates a unique environment for fitness enthusiast at all levels. Racers are allowed to create their destiny by choosing how hard they want to be tested, which will ultimately dictate which course they will take. The course is connected to RFID timing and point tracking, which will determine how a racer finishes amongst their competitors.

The races will begin in Buffalo, NY on October 12, 2019 and will continue in different stadiums across the country after that.
