Gavin & Stacey star Rob Brydon has posted a TikTok video that has gone viral about the infamous 'fishing trip' that fans are desperate to know more about.
Throughout the popular BBC3 series, that focussed on the love story of Stacey from Barry and Gavin from Essex, there have been continuous references to an incident during a fishing trip with Stacey's Uncle Bryn, who is played by Brydon, and her brother Jason.

What exactly happened on the fishing trip has remained a mystery to fans with the series writers James Corden and Ruth Jones only ever dropping hints to tease viewers.
Now 15 years on the truth is still not known about the fishing trip and Brydon has made a TikTok video to tease fans further.

Using the latest TikTok trend of zooming in on your face Rob filmed himself looking confused and shocked with the caption: "When you realise it's been 15 years and still no-one knows what happened on the fishing trip...." with three fishing line emojis.
He also used the hashtags #thefishingtrip #secrets and fans have gone mad with the video now on 1.1 million views, over 160,00 likes, and more than 2,800 comments.
Begging for more information many fans have taken to the comments, desperate to know what happened.
One said: "Tell us now Rob"
Another said: "This ain't even funny, come on man tell us!!!"
A third added: "TELL US ROB"
And: "I can't take it anymore I need to know"
