Rob Beckett jokes he didn't make the school run after celebrating England Euro triumph

Comedian Rob Beckett certainly knows how to enjoy himself watching the football.

The TV star went viral on social media last week for his epic 12-hour drunken bender to celebrate England’s famous Euro 2020 win over Germany.

And keeping up with hilarious previous form, Rob’s beer-drinking exploits landed him in hot water again this morning.

Rob was at Wembley again last night to watch his beloved country book their place in the Euro 2020 final.

But his hard celebrations after a nerve-jangling 2-1 win over Denmark caused him to miss today’s school run

“I didn’t make the school run,” joked Rob this morning on Twitter to his 454,000 fans.

He had earlier tweeted: “What day is it?”

And in a later tweet teased: “Time to go through my list of apology texts that need sorting.”

No doubt his wife Louise Watts would have unimpressed with his drunken antics.

But then again Rob has prior form following his epic bender last week.

The I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here Now! presenter celebrated England’s momentous win over Germany with a rollercoaster of drunken carnage.

The 35-year-old funnyman joined fellow comic pal Lloyd Griffith at Wembley – and documented the madness that promptly ensued on his Instagram account.

His 793,000 followers were treated to the smashed star having the time of his life at the footie, gategrashing a BBC1 TV show and nearly being run over by a police van while greedily snaffling some fried chicken after an incredible day of celebrations.

He also filmed himself screaming: “It’s coming home” through a megaphone during an Uber ride and unsuccessfully attempted to seduce his wife by texting: “Fancy a bit when I get home?”

The morning after he documented taking his kids to a swimming lesson, attending a kitchen makeover with his forgiving wife and ordering pizza to stop himself from crying.

“It’s like I wasn’t famous until the night I put the videos up,” he joked in an interview with The Sun.

“I can’t remember most of what happened and everyone knows my evening better than I do.”

Celebrity Bake Off star Rob’s celebrating has become so popular that the TV personality pinned a short YouTube video of his antics on his Twitter account.

It shows him celebrating wildly with fellow England supporters and sporting England attire and now legendary bucket hat.

“I was so happy. I haven’t had a rush of adrenaline like that for ages because I’ve not gone to anything for 18 months.

“But the atmosphere in the stadium was the best I’ve ever been near. It was unbelievable. My hangover was fuelled by happiness rather than lager.”
