Roath death prompts police arrest

Claude Place was cordoned off for much of today following the arrest

The sudden death of a 57-year-old man in Roath has been followed by a police arrest.

South Wales Police today arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of murder after police were called to Claude Place at 10pm last night.

Police have cordoned off the area, near Albany Road – and the man has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
