Roadworks are causing delays on one of the busiest roads into Cardiff .
Traffic is slow on the A4232 eastbound from A48 Cowbridge Road at Culverhouse Cross to the B4267 Leckwith Road at the Leckwith Interchange.
The congestion began at around midday on Sunday.
Traffic reports said traffic was heavier than normal due to a lane closure for the roadworks.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible with journey times currently extended by up to 30 minutes.
