Roadworks on Derby Road causing delays in Nottingham

Roadworks on one of Nottingham city centre's busiest routes are causing delays for drivers. Traffic lights are in place at Derby Road, near Canning Circus while work is carried out.

Traffic can be seen queuing in both directions at the lights on Saturday, October 29. The lights are due to be in place for another few weeks.

Traffic monitoring site Inrix states: "Temporary traffic lights due to roadworks on A6200 Derby Road at Wellington Square. The roadworks are due to be in place until November 6 at 6pm."

It's one of number of sets of roadworks reported in the county at this present time. There's temporary traffic lights due to gas main work on the A52 Derby Road at University of Nottingham North Entrance.

A lane is closed due to roadworks on the A611 Hucknall Road at Top Valley Way. Further north in Mansfield temporary traffic lights due to roadworks on A6009 Rosemary Street in both directions at Rosemary Avenue.
