Roadworks near Giltbrook Retail Park extended for another week

Roadworks in Giltbrook that were due to finish this weekend have been extended for a further seven days due to the weather.

A bulletin from Via East Midlands on Friday November 1 announced the stretch of the A610 from the off slip at Ikea roundabout to its junction with Nottingham Road in Kimberley will continue to be affected.

The work is to carry out concrete repairs to the A610 over bridge.

It started on Sunday, October 13 and will finish on Saturday, November 9.

There will be temporary prohibition of driving.

The work is being carried out by Via East Midlands in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council.
