Roads in Nottingham city centre to close for Ukraine Independence Day march

Roads in Nottingham city centre will be closed as a crowd marches for Ukraine's Independence Day. A march to commemorate Ukraine's Independence Day, which comes around six months after the country was invaded by Russian forces, is planned for Saturday, August 27 at 12 noon.

Roads will closed in order to let the march progress through the city centre, starting at the Brian Clough statue and ending at Sneinton Market. The route will be the following:

  • Brian Clough Statue (Start 12 midday)
  • Queen Street
  • Upper Parliament Street
  • Clumber Street
  • Pelham Street
  • Carlton Street
