A raft of road closures will take place in West Lothian over the course of the weekend.
On Friday August 23 Back Station Road in Linlithgow will be closed from the junction with the B9080 Edinburgh Road to the junction with Manse Road for Scottish Power works. The closure will be in place from 7am on Friday August 23 until 6pm on Thursday August 29.
On Saturday August 24 there will be closures on the Standhill Road in Bathgate and in Broxburn. Standhill Road will be closed from the junction with the A7066 to the junction with Inchcross Steadings for Openreach Superfast broadband works. The closure will be in place from 8am on Saturday August 24 until 4pm on Sunday August 25. For the Broxburn, Wyndford Avenue, A899 (East Main Street and West Main Street), B8020 (Greendykes Road and Albyn Place will be closed for the Broxburn galaday parade. The closures will be in place from 11.30am until 2.30pm on Saturday August 24.
On Sunday August 25 The Cross in Linlithgow will be closed for the classic car show. The closure will take place from 12pm until 4.30pm on Sunday August 25.
On Monday August 26 there will be closures at West Calder and Whitburn. Hartwood Road in West Calder will be closed from No.46 southwards for approximately 200 metres for installation of water service. The closure will take place from 12.01am on Monday August 26 until 11.59pm on Friday August 30. In Whitburn Parking will be suspended on West Main Street and Bowling Green Road around the junction where the two roads meet to facilitate Openreach utility work. The suspension will be in place from 9.30am on Monday August 26 until 3.30pm on Saturday 28 September.
