A Coast Guard Helicopter is helping people trapped in flash floods in Wexford this afternoon.
Parts of the county have been hit with a Christmas Day soaking with roads impassable and dangerous levels of water in some areas.
Gardai are warning people to use "extreme caution" when driving anywhere in the south-east county.
While the local council are offering sandbags due to the seriousness of the situation.
As of 3:30pm, the Rescue 117 helicopter is over part of Enniscorthy in an attempt to help some people trapped by the flood water.
One road in Adamstown has been completely destroyed with a huge gap caused by an overflowing stream.

A weather warning is in place in Wexford until 11pm tonight with rain set to continue for most of the day.
A Met Eireann forecaster added: "Persistent rain will continue to affect Connacht, Ulster and Leinster for the rest of the afternoon and early this evening. The rain will be heavy at times, causing localised flooding.
"Clear spells and scattered showers in Munster will gradually spread northeastwards through the evening. Breezy or windy in northern and eastern areas, with fresh to strong southeasterly winds. Winds will be mostly moderate elsewhere. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees."
