A road was taped off in Trafford earlier today after a man collapsed.
Stockport Road was cordoned off at the junction between Shaftesbury Avenue and Park Road in Timperley.
A spokeswoman for North West Ambulance Service said paramedics were called to the scene at 10.30am.
They sent an ambulance and rapid response vehicle.
There has been no further update on the man's condition at this stage.
The NWAS spokesman said: "We received a call at 10.32am to Stockport Road to reports of a person who had collapsed and we dispatched an ambulance and rapid response vehicle."
TfGM tweeted about the road closure, saying: "Stockport Road, Timperley is currently closed between Shaftesbury Avenue and Park Road due to an ongoing medical incident."
The road was reopened by 2pm.
