A council road sweeper and six vehicles were involved in a crash in Rochdale.
Emergency services were called to reports of the collision on Spotland Road, near to the Lidl supermarket, in Fallinge earlier this morning.
The Rochdale Council roadsweeper was unmanned at the time of the collision.
Witnesses said the sweeper could be seen rolling down a hill backwards in the direction of cars, but these reports have not been confirmed.
There are no reports of any injuries, but the ambulance service attended as a precatuion.
Greater Manchester Police are not taking any further action.

Councillor Neil Emmott, cabinet member for environment, said: “An unmanned council vehicle was involved in an accident with six vehicles on Spotland Road this morning.
"Police attended the scene and will not be taking any further action.
"We take the safety of residents and staff very seriously and are investigating. We regret any inconvenience or upset it may have caused.”
