You might remember a couple of months back we were talking about headsets and the safety of using various hand-held equipment while you're driving.
Well, people appear to be ignoring road safety rules as much as ever and risking accidents by talking on a mobile phone whilst driving. I was out at a meeting in Central London yesterday and saw about four people on hand-held phones on the way there and back.
I wonder whether we couldn't have some sort of campaign; you know how some companies put a note on their vans with a number you can call to comment on the driver's competence; maybe a voluntary campaign to get people to phone in immediately they see some idiot using a hand-held phone whilst executing a difficult manoeuvre - with instant dismissal as the sanction?
