Road near Silverburn closed after man, 32, found seriously injured

A 32-year-old man was found seriously injured on the road leading to Silverburn from the M77.

Boydstone Road is closed between Barrhead Road and Kennishead Road, as of 2.55pm.

Police confirmed to Glasgow Live the 32 year old man was found at 1.25pm today, and was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Drivers are encouraged to follow the police diversions for the time being.
