A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Mansfield on Sunday (September 9) afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident involving a motorbike and a van.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said the collision happened in Lindhurst Lane, at the junction with Berry Hill Lane in Mansfield, at around 2.50pm.
The spokesman added: "The motorcyclist was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by road ambulance. It’s currently believed his injuries are serious.
"Lindhurst Lane is currently closed at the junction with Berry Hill Lane as Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit continues its investigations.
"Nottinghamshire Police are urging anyone who witnessed this crash or any drivers who may have dash cam footage to please get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident number 426 of 6 September 2020.”
