Road in Beeston to close for 12 days due to roadworks

A busy Beeston road will be closed for 12 days for roadworks.

Humber Road, which connects Queens Road and Middle Street, will be closed from Thursday, May 30 to Wednesday, June 12.

It is closed while a telecommunication ducting is laid under the road.

Trentbarton warned that its Indigo bus would be missing the Humber Road stop during that period.

It said: "From Thursday 30 May to Wednesday 12 June Humber Road, Beeston will be closed due to roadworks. Our indigo will need to divert and miss the following stop: Humber Road.

"Please allow extra time for your journeys."

The newly built cycle lane on the road will also be out of action during this period.
