There will be a number of road closures in Shotts this coming week.
Starting today until October 5, Brown Street will be closed from B7010 Springhill Road southwards for a distance of around 20m.
This is due to carriageway patching works.
Vehicles on the north side of the closure wishing access to the south side should proceed via B7010 Springhill Road, Blackhall Street, Belmont Drive and Brown Street.
Vehicles on the south side of the closure wishing access to the north should proceed vice versa.
Also starting today until October 5, Huntly Terrace will be closed from its junction with B7010 Springhill Road northwards for a distance of around 20m.
This is also due to carriageway patching works.
Vehicles on the south side of the closure wishing access to the north should proceed via B7010 Springhill Road, Melford Avenue, Lansdowne Crescent and Huntly Terrace.
Vehicles on the north side of the closure wishing access to the south side should proceed vice versa.
On Friday Minard Road will be closed from St Catherines Crescent to Bute Crescent. This will be from the hour of 8am to 4pm.
This is to carry out Scottish Water Manhole Repairs.
Vehicles on the east side of the closure wishing access to the west side should proceed via St Catherines Crescent, Thomson Terrace, Baton Road and Minard Road.
Vehicles on the west side of the closure wishing access to the east side should proceed vice versa.
All vehicles except work related will be restricted at all closures.
Vehicular and pedestrian access will be permitted where practical during the closure.
