A stretch of road near City of Glasgow College has been closed due to an ongoing police incident.
Access from Gorbals Street (Sheriff Court) to the Riverside Campus has been shut off since around 8.30am.
One eyewitness told Glasgow Live that police are currently at the scene at the scene with pedestrians being forced to divert from the area.
City of Glasgow College tweeted that staff and students would be unable to access the route until further notice.
They are instead being advised to use Crown Street as an alternative route into the college.
The statement read: "Due to an ongoing police incident, the walkway along the River Clyde is closed from Gorbals Street (Sheriff Court) to Riverside Campus. Staff and students are advised to use an alternative route to get to college - access is available from Crown Street."
Glasgow Live has reached out to Police Scotland for a comment.
