Drivers are being warned to brace themselves for four days of disruption on the roads as parts of the M50 will be closed off for works over the next week.
The road maintenance will see closures for eight-hours each day on Thursday and Friday of this week.
While commuters on Monday and Tuesday of next week will also be affected as certain junctions will be shut off to drivers.
On Thursday, September 9, there will be a full closure at Junction 7 southbound.
Traffic will be diverted off the M50 via the N4;R113; R136 and N7 and back onto the motorway using these roads between the hours of 10pm and 6am.
The same closure will be in place from Friday night and into Saturday morning at the same time using the same diversions.
Monday, 14 September, will see the full closure of Junction 9 northbound with traffic being diverted using the same roads also from 10pm until 6am.
And on Tuesday, 15 September, Junction 7 on the M50 northbound will be fully closed with similar procedures in place from 10pm until 6am.
A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "We would like to advise motorists to please take note of upcoming full closures of the M50 mainline for works in the next week and to remember to plan your journeys accordingly."
