Road closures and severe traffic disruption on College Green and Dame Street for Culture Night on Friday

There is set to be road closures and severe disruptions in the city this week as Culture Night takes place on Friday, September 20.

The event commissioned by Dublin City Council will see traffic restrictions in place from 7pm to 11pm throughout the Dame Street and College Green area.

This vicinity will become pedestrianised during this time as a heart-stopping spectacle takes place in the soon-to-be-opened Central Plaza on Dame Street.

Metal meets muscle in 'Elevate' which is a gravity-defying show created and performed by Ireland's leading aerialists, Aerial Cirque.

There will be music by Cork-based composer Peter Power and visuals by Bulgarian artist Petko Panchev with performances taking place at 8.45pm – 9.15pm, 9.30pm – 10pm, and 10.30pm – 11pm.
