Road closures and disruption warning for Glasgow west end for another COP26 protest tonight

Residents in Glasgow's west end are being warned of road closures and disruption due to another COP26 protest that is scheduled to take place later today.

The temporary closures and localised disruption will affect Kelvin Way, Radnor Street, Argyle Street, Kelvinhaugh Street and Eastvale Place - where arts and events space SWG3 is located - between 4:30pm and 6:30pm.

Police Scotland said that the protest involves a 'planned procession'.

They confirmed news of the march in a tweet, which read: "Please expect disruption in the west end of Glasgow today, due to a planned procession.

"There will be temporary road closures and localised disruption today between 4.30pm and 6.30pm along Kelvin Way, Radnor Street, Argyle Street Kelvinhaugh Street and Eastvale Place."
